Two mobile stages affectionately referred to as SAM and APOLLO

In 2003 we invested in our first full-size outdoor mobile stage, the exceptional Sam 53 Mobile Stage from Stageline, probably the most sophisticated system of its kind ever built. In 2004 we added a Gullwing truck based mobile stage to cater for midsized events.

SAM comprises a single custom trailer that hydraulically unfolds into a covered, 185 square metre stage complete with sound wings. It takes two technicians a little over six hours to erect.

Apollo our gullwing stage, at 10 metres wide x 7 metres deep, meets the need for small to medium events at a fraction of the SAM cost.

Attached to trucks, our stages are mobile and can be driven almost anywhere. Once dressed, they offer a comprehensive and attractive solution. You provide us with the spot, and our team will provide you with a fully functional stage that will help ensure your event entertainment is a huge success. We have people with the knowledge, skills and experience that make this specialised equipment a pleasure to use.

Oceania’s stages have been used at a vast number of events and settings across New Zealand, from Christmas in the Park, Big Day Out and the More FM Winery Tours right through to small school fairs and community festivals.

SCREENS means "Projectors and Screens"

Our current flagships are a pair of 12,000 Lumen Christie Roadstar HD video projectors. These 12k DLP HD 16:9 native projectors are regarded as the some of the best in the world by many AV professionals. For smaller events we use Sony 3500 lumen PX40's and a range of screens or 52' plasma's.

The Oceania Stage and Screens divisions are overseen by James McKenzie and Pete Dexter. James has had over 10 years experience in all aspects of the Oceania business and Pete has been running our Screens division since its inception a few years ago. We saw the inclusion of a stage fleet and screens to our audio and lighting hire stock as an important part of being a full service provider to our customers.
